[FREE] [APP] MdViewer - Markdown viewer & editor with tables, code and LaTeX
Hi everyone,
I'm a solo developer and I'd like to share MdViewer, a Markdown viewer and editor for Android. It's free and no account is needed.
What it does:
- Pick any folder and it lists every .md file inside, with a per-folder document count
- Full rendering: headings, lists, quotes, tables, task lists, code syntax highlighting (Kotlin, Python, JSON...), math (LaTeX inline and block), images and wiki links
- Three themes (Light / Dark / Sepia) plus font size and line spacing
- Heading outline (TOC) and in-document search
- Highlights in any colour and bookmarks
- Editor with live preview, formatting toolbar and auto-save
- On-device OCR to turn a photo into a Markdown document
- Export to PDF or HTML, import from GitHub
It works well with vaults from Obsidian or Typora - it just reads the .md files, nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Price: free (ad-supported, no in-app purchases)
Root: not required
Min Android: 5.0
Localised into 87 languages

Feedback and bug reports are welcome in this thread.
